What is Awana Leadership Training Conference?

LTC, also now known as the Awana Children's Ministry Conference, is a one-day event for every volunteer in your Awana program—and Sunday school teachers, youth group workers, parents and pastors, too. Awana missionaries run more than 130 conferences across the U.S. for churches in their respective regions. Training conferences have general sessions and workshops that provide ideas, instruction and inspiration to help leaders maximize their ministry.

This year’s theme is—

“Follow Me and I Will Make You…”

Pastors:

Encourage your Awana and Children’s Ministry workers to attend this conference, and I will give you a special book, authored by Jack Egger titled, “The Return of the Mighty Church” .(for pastors  who are unable to attend, e-mail me RoyK@awana.org that you promoted the conference and I will send you your book) If you personally attend (one pastor at no charge) with your leaders, I will give you a second gift. Either “Rock Solid Kids” by Larry Fowler, or “Rock Solid Leaders” by Dr. Craig Carlson

Commanders:

Encourage your leaders to come and receive a big day packed full of training that will equip your club for some exciting growth both in numbers and in mentoring skills.  Bring 70% of your leaders to the conference and earn a plaque for your church. (one pastor counts as 3 people) All attending will receive a pin “Follow Me and I will Make You…” ( Looks just like the above logo)
