Dear Sparks Director,
Doesn’t it make you feel great when you get to watch your clubbers finish their third Sparks book? It’s a great feeling when we get to hand the clubbers their Sparks Plaque. Doesn’t it put a smile on your face, just thinking about it? It sure does on ours! One of our favorite parts of the Sparks-a-Rama is getting to shake each clubber’s hands and tell them about Sparks Camp-a-Rama.
Take a minute, if you will, and just picture yourself at Sparks Camp-A-Rama with many other Sparks celebrating their achievements! It sure is a great time. We start off the day by skipping through Skipperland, hiking through Hikerland and, yep you guessed it, climbing through Climberland. I promise you, it is a day that you and your Sparks will never forget.
Betty and I feel that they have worked really hard to get finished with their books. That is why we put on a ONE day Sparks Camp. The few seconds we give to them at awards night and at Sparks-a-Rama just isn’t enough.
As Sparks’ director, we would like to personally invite you to camp. It is a day that everyone needs to go to (at least once).
Again, this year we will be at Camp Fairwood on May 21nd. The cost will be $30.00 per person. For your $30.00, you will receive a special Camp-a-Rama T-shirt, juice & a cookie, lunch, bubbles, a picnic supper, and a bunch of souvenirs to remember the day by. Please, take just a little of your time and share this sparks camp-a-rama with your Sparky Plaque winners and their parents.
To register simply duplicate, distribute, and complete a Sparks Camp-a-Rama registration for each clubber and adult attending. YES, we do ask that you bring at least ONE adult for every four children. This will make the day go much smoother. As in the past, a minimum of $10.00 per person must accompany each registration form. PRE-REGISTRATION IS NOT REFUNDABLE, but a substitute is allowed.
Please send the completed registration, along with your check made out to AWANA, to us at the address above. The deadline for registering is Friday, MAY 13th, to reserve your spot, meals, and shirts. Once you have registered, be watching for a letter in the mail to confirm that we have saved you a spot at camp. This is when you will receive a map and more information about what we have planned for you.
PLEASE, mark your calendar now, and plan to spend a day at SPARKS CAMP-A-RAMA with us. We guarentee that this will be a day you WON’T forget! Even SPARKY will be with us for the day! Please feel free to call, if you have any questions or you just need more information.

WHAT TO BRING: The enclosed parent consent form for each Sparkie that is attending. To be turned in and you should have a copy for yourself. (Forms may be duplicated) WHAT TO WEAR: Camp-a-Rama will be held rain or shine (PRAY FOR SHINE) hopefully outside. Check the weather and dress for Hike in the woods and play outside. ALWAYS WEAR YOUR BEST SMILE!!
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
We request approximately one adult per 4 clubbers that attend camp. Adults will accompany their Sparkies ALL day and receive a T-shirt TOO. The $10.00 pre-registration fee (non-refundable) for each Sparky and adult attending. It would simplify the day if full amount were paid with registration form.
