IMPORTANT INFO for 2008

PFirst, T&T Quizzing Locations:

In the Fox Valley Area your competition will be April 5, 2008; Place Fond du Lac, Lighthouse Christian Church

In the Central Area your competition will be February 23, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Immanuel Baptist Church Wausau.

Jr. & Sr. High, 24/7 Expo February 16, Fort Atkinson WI (Entire State Event) Quizzing, Awana Games, and Fine Arts competition.

PSecond, Team Members:

All Teams Are Co-Ed! No more than 6 clubbers per team, no less than 1, but 2  is better.

T&T Book One Team can have any clubber grades 3^rd through 6^th who are currently working in this book or has completed it during the current Awana year.

T&T Book Two Teams can have any clubber grades 4^th through 6^th who are currently working in this book or has completed it during the current Awana year.

T&T Book Three Teams can have any clubber grades 5^th or 6^th who are currently working in this book or has completed it during the current Awana year.

T&T Book Four Teams can have any clubber in 6^th grade who are currently working in this book, or has completed it during the current Awana year.

PThird, Trek & Journey (Jr. & sr. High School) Will compete in the Madison area, check events on www.awanaswi.org look on events for 24/7 EXPO.

T&T material that will be covered is: Discovery 1 through Discovery 4 in Books 1 & 2 and Challenge 1 through Challenge 4 in Book 3 & 4 .  Please know everything: Memorize (know reference and verse word-perfect from your handbook), Search Site, Cool Tool, Do It, Think About It, Brain Check, and Word Wise. Also for Book One: The first four questions in both the multiple choice and speed rounds, may contain material from the Start Zone but no questions from Discovery/Challenge 4.  Questions 5-8 may contain material from Discovery/Challenge 4.

Remember Red & Blue books are revised this year and we will be using them. If you are using the old books you will be okay, the new books just have less verses in them.

Fourth, Alternate rule:

If you alternate one clubber out, you may put them back in, but not unless all members of your team are used. This could be important for Book One Quizzing. If you have a clubber who has only studied the Start Zone and the first 3 Discoveries, you may alternate that clubber out for question 5-8 and return that same clubber back for speed question 1-4, and alternate her/him back out for speed question 5-8.

Fifth, Important Details:

Each church is asked to provide a scorekeeper.

Coaches need to fill out score sheets with clubbers names and turn them in to the registration table 20 minutes prior to start time.

No Studying After Quiz Begins!

For Quizzes, plan to arrive at 12:00 noon. A place to eat will be provided. There will be meetings for both Coaches and Scorekeepers at 12:45 p.m.
